Avrasya Terminal Isletmeleri Anonim Sirketi was founded in 1987. The construction and operation of the Great Istanbul Bus Terminal was awarded to the Group in 1994 for a period of 25 years. Business commencement date of the company is May 1994, which is the opening date of the bus terminal. The company, which has operate the Great Istanbul Bus Terminal only when it was first founded, started to operate other terminals in different cities and abroad, thanks to the investments it has made in Turkey and abroad.

The company operates in Turkey and overseas in the fields of bus terminal, station and transport vehicle management, bus terminal construction, soilless agriculture, tourism management, construction, car rental and concrete plant operations. The paid-in capital of the Company is ₺70.000.000 and it obtained the statue of public share once all of its shares have been registered by CMB and recorded in the inventory of CRA.

The number of personnel employed at this company and its sub-companies is more than 750. The largest bus terminal owned by the company is the Great Istanbul Bus Terminal. The construction of Great Istanbul Bus Terminal started on 30.12.1987 and the bus terminal was put into service on 05.05.1994. The construction cost $140 million US without receiving any fund outside the sector. Bus terminal complex consists of the main unit with an indoor space of 230.384 m2 and outdoor space of 95.266 m2 over 212.244 m2 land as well as the outdoor areas in the north and south of this building. The right of operation was transferred to our company Avrasya Terminal Isletmeleri A.S., for a period of 25 years in accordance with the build-operate-transfer-model as of 05.05.1994 which is the completion date of the terminal.

There are currently 324 companies operating in the Istanbul Bus Terminal. In addition, the group operates Samsun Yusuf Ziya Yılmaz Intercity Bus Terminal, Kayseri Intercity Bus Terminal, Canakkale Intercity Bus Terminal and Kirikkale Intercity Bus Terminal.
